CKS-IB Family welcomes the Year of the Rabbit

The CKS-IB family bid goodbye to the year of the tiger and welcomed the year of the rabbit together with the kindergarten, elementary, high school, and college students at the Main campus quadrangle.

The said event was hosted by Beatrice Chicano of DP 11 and Yuanxiang Chen of DP 12 on January 19, 2022 (Thursday). Energetic lion dance performed along with the Dianzi Santaizi under the resonant, echoing sound of the Gongs. This was followed by the cheer of auspicious sayings from the different departments. After, the cheer, everyone began to dance “Gōngxǐ Gōngxǐ”, “Gǎnxiè shǒuyǔ gē”, “Cǎicǎicǎi”, and  “Cīnnián Yeah”. Lastly, everyone started the countdown and as everybody shouted one, confetti rain fell down the whole quadrangle, showering everyone with prosperous blessings.

2023 Chinese New Year School Gathering ended by greeting each other “Gōngxǐ fācái! Xīnchūn kuàilè”. In the year of the rabbit, our school will continue to thrive and grow as one big family.
