In 2017, under the leadership of President, Dr. Dory Poa, CKS College began its IB journey with a candidacy application to implement the Middle Years Programme (MYP) (Candidate School). The program was initially open to a handful of grades 7 and 8 students, and on its second year was offered to grades 7 to 9 of the MYP. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) (Candidate School) was also offered to the first batch of grades 1 and 2, servicing 150 students in total.
In 2020, the College was authorized by the IB to offer the Diploma Programme.
